WHAT IS THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY?
WHEREAS,
it is the express will of Almighty God to bring all of creation into an
eternal loving relationship with him, through the obedience of a chosen
people who are divinely equipped to evangelize their communities and
the entire world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (the Great
Commission), and contribute to the development of the body of Christ,
built and established on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; and
WHEREAS,
all fellowship members of this MEN AND WOMEN IN THE FIVE-FOLD
MINISTRIES ministerial leadership body are enjoined to assemble
themselves together for worship, fellowship, counsel, and instruction
in the Word of God and the work of the ministry and for pooling
together of our spiritual, vocational, and professional gifts, talents,
and expertise to the honor and glory of God, the advancement of God's
kingdom, the welfare of the members of the association, their
ministries and family members and the ideals set forth in this
Constitution,
BE IT RESOLVED:
that we identify ourselves as ministers of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus
Christ who are committed to working together in unity for the common
purpose of equipping believers to spread the Gospel of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ, and that under the laws of the State of
California, we may exercise all the rights and privileges granted to
religious bodies....
