IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE
WHEN YOUR SITUATION REQUIRES SANE, FACTUAL, BIBLICAL COUNSELING:
(1) That the whole purpose of life is to be of service first to God and second to man,
(2) That reversal of this divinely instituted trend of life brings about emptiness, failure and disaster in one's life,
(3) That you are here today not for curiosity's sake,
(4) That you have realized that things are not going on well in your life and that you need help and remedy,
(5) That you cannot provide the help and remedy you need yourself,
(6) That you will humbly and respectfully, but sincerely and honestly receive the counsel you will be given,
(7) That you will faithfully and obediently act upon the counsel you will receive to achieve the results you need,
(8) That it has taken you years to bring your own life to what it is now and so your healing and restoration will not happen overnight,
(9) That you will genuinely help your children, friends, relations and all persons the same way that you are being helped today,
(10) That God is greater than all your problems and with Him all things will be possible for you as you heartily obey His Word to you.

MAINTAINING YOUR DELIVERANCE
WHAT DOES DELIVERANCE MEAN?
To be completely free from self, the world and Satan, his demons and all their activities
HOW TO BE DELIVERED
1. Be humble, and acknowledge that you have a problem
2. Be honest
3. Confess faith in Christ (if you are not a Christian).
4. Confess any known sin or sins (by self or ancestors)
5. Repent of all sins (Proverbs 28:13)
6. Break with the occult if you are involved in it (curses and secret societies) (Acts 19:18-19)
7. Forgive others - anyone who has wronged you. Unforgiveness releases you to the tormentors (Satan and demons) (Matthew 18:32-35)
8. Expel (Cast out)
WHY SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT DELIVERED
1. Lack of repentance (Proverbs 5:22-23)
2. Lack of desperation (passivity) (Isaiah 5:18-24)
3. Wrong motives (delivered to serve God rather than to get off the hook) (James 4:3)
4. Self-centeredness (desire for attention: no dignity until set free it doesn't matter your educational background or social standing).
5. Failure to break from the occult, etc.
6. Failure to sever evil soulish relationship/ties.
7. Under a curse
8. Failure to confess a specific sin for example, abortion, murder or bloodshed (Psalm 66:18)
9. Not "seperated by water baptism" Water baptism by immersion separates you from your past.
10. Part of a large spiritual battle that requires corporate action. In that case one time deliverance won't set you free.
HOW TO KEEP YOUR DELIVERANCE
1. Make Jesus Lord of your life
2. Garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3)
3. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:14-17)
4. Live by the word of God - WORD + FAITH + FEELING (Matthew 4:4; Proverbs 11:9)
5. Submit to God completely and resist the devil (James 4:7)
6. Right fellowship: right people+ right church + right teaching/doctrine of God's Word (1John 1:7)
7. Come under discipline, obedience and willingness to do as God's Word commands - not rebellion (1Samuel 15:23)
8. Make Jesus central to your life and all your activities.

A VERY GOOD QUESTION YOU HAVE TO POSE TO YOURSELF....
"HOW DO I KNOW I NEED DELIVERANCE?"
First of all - think again about the meaning of deliverance.
Any particular ISSUE, ATTITUDE or SITUATION that KEEPS ON REPEATING ITSELF NEGATIVELY IN YOUR LIFE WHICH YOU CAN'T SEEM TO HAVE CONTROL OR VICTORY OVER - makes you a strong candidate for DELIVERANCE.
(It could be a spiritual, moral, physical, ethical, financial, vocational, marriage, relationship, business, health. mental, family, generational, or social issue).
PRAYER AND FASTING
THE BEDROCK OF EVERY MAJOR MOVE OF GOD.
Thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. (Psalm 65:2)...God is ready to hear the prayer of His people. (You can get anything in prayer)!
1. You must be SPECIFIC in prayer.
* Describe what you need to God
* Tell God exactly what you need
* Don't pretend
* Tell the truth: God hates and loathes all lies and LIARS.
* Be transparent (confess your sins {your short comings} - let God know you need help in whatever area you fall short in) - He will forgive you (1Jn 1:9).
2. Prayer must be POSITIVE
* Don't fast and pray to ask God to kill someone you hate or don't like (your enemy)
* Don't curse them - love them
3. Prayer must be CONSISTENT
* Don't stop praying until you receive the answer. Be importunate in prayer.
* Be persistent (remember the woman in Matthew who went to the unrighteous judge. She continually approached him - until he finally pardoned her, because he was tired of her approaching him with the same matter)!
4. Prayer must be BY THE RIGHT MOTIVE.
* (1 Jn. 3:20-22) .. for if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
* Read 1 Cor. 11:26 down...for if we would judge ourselves - no one would judge us.
5. Prayer must be BY HUMILITY & UPRIGHTNESS.
* God doesn't hear those who come to Him with a spirit of PRIDE! (Remember Lucifer - the beautiful heavenly angel who proudly said in Isaiah - (14:14) - I will be like the most High God - And in Ezekiel - (28:14-19) - was cast out of heaven, taken away from the high position he held). Pride will destroy you - God will take you off your "high horse" - put you in a place you'd never dare to be (Psalm 102:18) ...talking about the new-birth... tells us how to walk in uprightness. "This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord."
6. Prayer must be BY FAITH. (Without faith - it is impossible to please God).
* (Heb. 11:6)..but without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
7. Prayer must be WORD BASED.
* (Is. 43:26) Put me in remembrance, let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.- saith The Lord. God has asked that we remind Him of His Word...remind Him of His promises - that He may justify us. (Justify means: to make right).
* If you need healing: see EX. 23: 25-26 - which tell us: To serve God,..He will bless our bread and water..take sickness away ..we will not suffer barrenness and He will fulfill our days - we will not die before our time.
* (PH. 4:19)....God shall supply all my needs - according to His riches in glory.
* Jer. 30:17, Lk. 10:19, Mt. 17:20-21, Mt. 18:15-20, Mk 11:20-24, Jn 14:13-14, Jn 16:24
* Pray the Word: the Word of God and the Holy Spirit are the agents of creation - the Word is God.
PRAYERS THAT PRODUCE RESULTS
Holy Ghost Anointed Prayers
1. Prepare your heart through the Holy Spirit - Job 11:13
2. Seek God with true desire: - 2 Chronicles 15:15. In prayer, do not say things that you don't mean to God. Be very serious with God in prayer.
3. Always refer God to His words to you. Quote His words in prayer - 2 Chronicles 20:6-9.
4. Sin or iniquity will hinder your prayer from being answered by God. -Psalm 66:18
Confess your sins one by one to God and those that you can't remember ask Him with all sincerity to forgive you. (Remember Psalm 139:23-29 - search me Oh God and know my heart....)
5. Idols in our hearts also will cause the Lord to not hear us. Ezekiel 14:3.
6. Prayerlessness is sin; - 1 Samuel 12:23 and not weakness. All failure is rooted in prayerlessness.
7. It's the wicked who do not pray and as a result calamity always befalls them and their children in the end Job 21:7-20.
8. Prayer brings increase: - spiritually, numerically, financially and (2 Chronicles 26:5) also materially.
Prayer can do whatever God can do.
Prayer brings Revelation, Vision and Knowledge
Never rush foolishly in(to) prayer because minds don't touch God...only hearts touch God.
Prayer saves time, but does not take away time.
Prayer moves God and prayer outlives those who pray.
The strongest Christian is the best knocker.
WHY OUR PRAYERS ARE NOT ANSWERED
Things that prevent us from getting the Blessings of God:
1. Disobedience: Deuteronomy 1:45; 1 Samuel 14:37; 28:6
2. Secret Sins: Proverbs 28:13-14; Psalm 66:18
3. Indifference: (lack of quality, coldness, disinterestedness) Proverbs1:28
4. Neglect of Mercy: Proverbs 21:13
5. Despising the Law: Proverbs 28:9
6. Blood Guiltiness: Isaiah 1:15; Psalm 51:4
7. Iniquity: (consistent habitual practice of sin & wickedness) Isaiah 59:2; Micah 3:4
8. Stubbornness: (difficult to deal with; set in one's way) Zechariah 7:1
9. Instability: James 1:6-8 There are many today who are not stable in their faith and convictions as Christians, - unstable in the Word of God and their church membership as well as attendance. They move from church to church without any form of commitment to leadership and the church. They pray to God, or join a church - just to get off the hook, - or just to seek deliverance, - or relief for a loved one. We have seen many such people come to our church. Such people, apart from God not hearing their prayers - are the devil's tools and instruments for distraction, destruction, confusion and disharmony.
10. Self-Indulgence: James 4:3 A self-indulgent person is one who is set in his or her own ways. He or she is found to give in to his or her own wishes or whims. An intemperate and immoderate person who only thinks about himself or herself.
CONFESSION OF CHRIST
Lord, Jesus Christ,
I believe that you are the Son of God and the only way to God. That you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead, on the basis of what you did for me, I believe that Satan's claims against me are all cancelled.
And so now Lord Jesus, I submit myself to you. I commit myself to serve and to obey you and on that basis, I take my stand against every dark evil force that in anyway has come into my life, whether it be through my own acts or acts of my family or of my ancestors, or of something larger and mightier than I am a part of: wherever there is any darkness in my life, any evil thoughts and plans, Lord, I renounce them now; I refuse any longer to submit to them, and in the almighty name of Jesus, the Son of God; I take authority over all evil, unclean and familiar spirits I have contacted; I loose myself from them and I release myself entirely from their powers. I drive them from me now, in the Name of Jesus, and I invite and invoke the Holy Spirit of God to move right into my life and make my deliverance, my liberation, and my blessing fully effectual as only the SPIRIIT OF GOD CAN DO IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN!!!
SOME IMPORTANT FACTS TO KNOW
1. Your destiny or progress in life is linked to someone, whoever is the link, you do not know. It is God alone who knows because He determined your destiny. It is very important then for you to love, respect, honor, recognize, live rightly and honestly with all people, if you can. Above all, be of service, encouragement and a blessing to all people, if possible. Give your time, talent and finances to help other people. For, all the people that come your way, some of them are connected to your destiny and its fulfillment.
2. God created you to be a blessing and not a failure. All promises of God in the bible are for you and could be gained by you. There are five things that can stop you from obtaining them. (A) The Devil, (B) Demons or Evil Spirits, (C) Sin, (D) Doubt and Unbelief and (F) Disobedience.
3. Once you become saved through Jesus, you are delivered from the devil, sin, demons, death, failure, poverty, disease and sickness.
4. When you become saved you are given a measure of FAITH and GRACE (abilities) to build up your life into victory and success. You cannot receive anything from God by riding on SOMEONE'S FAITH or operating on SOMEONE'S GRACE throughout your Christian life.
5. The kind of image you have about yourself will determine your position and achievement in life.
